OKAY GREAT, BUT CAN YOU PRINT MY CLUBS COLOUR?

Yes we can. In short, printing in CMYK and RGB is incosistent, with each printer producing subtle differences due to elements out of their control. Pantone has been used for decades as the universally accepted colour matching system, allowing manufacturers from anywhere in the world to consistently match almost any colour you can think of. Prior to printing your clubs order, we will match your clubs colours or previously printed jersey.

WHAT ARE THE WAYS WE CAN
MATCH YOUR COLOUR?

We use a few different processes to match your clubs colour. We will work closely with
you to ensure we get your clubs colour 100% accurate before printing.

01

Matching to a physical sample

The best way for us to match your clubs colours is to match it to a physical jersey. This ensures the jerseys we print are the same as previous years as your old supplier may have used the wrong colour code.

02

In person colour matching

We have a full fabric swatch of every single Pantone. Together, we can mutually agree on the pantone that best suits your clubs colour.

COLOUR FAQs

Why do you print using Pantone?

Printing with CMYK and RGB can be unpredictable as there will always be subtle differences in the colours printed due to external factors like temperature. Pantone allows factories all around the world to match their inks to a universally accepted colour book, meaning we can print your clubs colours the same every time.

Why does my jersey colour look different on my screen?

Whenever we provide renders for your garments, the colours you see on screen won't be exactly what is printed. Despite the physical garments using your Pantone, what you see on screen will be different as your screen uses RGB, which will display different to the physical product that is printed.

How can I guarantee you match my colour correctly?

The best way to match your clubs colours will be to always provide us with a physical sample of the previous jersey you are trying to match to. Whilst you may think that your clubs colours are Pantone 185c for example, your previous manufacturer may have printed Pantone 186c instead. We will always be able to match most accurately to a physical sample.

I've got my colours on my phone, can you match to that?

No. Phone and computer screens use RGB colour modes, which are different across every device. The colour you see on your screen will differ with varying screen brightnesses as well.

I don't know my clubs Pantone, what do I do?

We can work together to find you your clubs Pantone. We can do this by either matching one of your previously printed jerseys, or we can show you our fabric swatch that has every single Pantone printed on it, for you to select and approve a colour. If needed we can also convert your RGB/CMYK to a Pantone a print a fabric swatch for you.
